Timo Mostert

Timo Mostert has coached the Boys Cross Country and Track Teams at American Fork (Ut.) High School since 1998. His team has competed at the State Championships every year he has coached, earning 11 State Championships, 6 Runner-up trophies, 22 top-5 finishes, and 14 Region Championships. His 2009 -2014, '16, ’22, ‘23 teams all won the NXN Southwest Regionals, placing in the top-8 at all 11 Nike Cross Nationals with 4 second place podiums, 11 All-America honors and a two-time Individual National Champion. In 2017, his boys set the National Record in the 4X1600m Relay with 16:41.30 at the Arcadia Invitational. In 2020, his boys set the National Record for 5k XC Team Time of 75:04.95 at the RunningLane Cross-Country Championships in Huntsville, Alabama. During CoVid-19, his boys placed 1st and 10th at the RunningLane XC Championships with 2 RunningLane All-Americans.

Donn Behnke
Stevens Point Area Senior High
Stevens Point, Wisconsin

Donn Behnke is the head cross country coach at Stevens Point Area Senior High. His teams have qualified for the state meet 45 times during his 47-year tenure, with 12 state titles - distinguished as the most state meet appearances and most state titles in the modern era of Wisconsin high school XC. His teams have won 248 invitational, 45 conference titles, 42 state sectional titles and qualified for the Nike Cross Nationals in 2019, 2022 and 2023. Donn has coached seven individual state champions, including Footlocker finalists/DI All-Americans and NCAA DI national champions, Keith Hanson and Chris Solinsky. He is the author of “The Animal Keepers,” now in its second printing with excellent reviews from runners and non-runners alike.

Lauren DeAngelis
York Community High School
Elmhurst, Illinois

Lauren DeAngelis is entering her 14th year coaching cross country and 10th year coaching at York Community High School. Her cross country coaching career began at Lake Park High School, leading multiple state-qualifying teams, including the 2012 Class 3A state runner-up team. Since becoming the girls coach at York in 2014, the “Lady Dukes” have made eight consecutive appearances at the state meet, with three state titles, one state runner up finish, and two NXN appearances in the last four seasons. Since 2010, she has coached teams to 7 conference titles, 5 regional titles, 4 sectional titles, and 11 state appearances; and helped mentor 15 All-State XC runners, 8 of whom placed in the top 10 at the Class 3A IHSA State Meet since 2010.
